The history of the Grether & Wells brand began in 1859 in the small town of San Bernardino, California, USA, the first spring for mattresses was produced at the small family business of the Wells Company.

Due to the glue-free connection of the layers, the mattresses are absolutely environmentally friendly, and thanks to the super-strong woolen threads used in tufting, they are still durable and strong.
In addition, fluffy stitching improves air exchange between the layers of the mattress, providing longer use and proper orthopedic support for the spine. And, of course, tufting also plays an important aesthetic role: the symmetrical relief on the surface of the mattress looks elegant and noble.
